Como parte de la conferencia “Planificando a Puerto Rico: El Futuro de la Gobernanza Municipal”, organizada por la Sociedad Puertorriqueña de Planificación, los profesionales de IBTS Puerto Rico compartirán su experiencia sobre cómo la planificación cobra vida desde las comunidades, fortaleciendo la gobernanza local, promoviendo la participación ciudadana y fomentando la resiliencia en los municipios de Puerto Rico. Panelistas: ⭐Rosa Lozano- Torres, MP, PPL Planificadora profesional con más de 29 años de experiencia en planificación ambiental, comunitaria y recuperación post-desastre. En IBTS Puerto Rico dirigió el programa Whole Community Recovery, desarrollando estrategias de resiliencia en comunidades afectadas por desastres naturales. En IBTS Puerto Rico ha trabajado con FEMA, el Laboratorio Nacional Lawrence Berkeley y el Negociado de Energía de Puerto Rico en proyectos de eficiencia energética y planificación participativa orientada a la autogestión comunitaria. ⭐Heriberto Urbano Amparo Diseñador e inspector de proyectos, tecnólogo y técnico en ingeniería civil. Forma parte del equipo de IBTS Puerto Rico y ha colaborado con entidades como FEMA, el Laboratorio Nacional Lawrence Berkeley, el Negociado de Energía de Puerto Rico y el Departamento de Corrección y Rehabilitación en proyectos de recolección de datos, infraestructura y resiliencia energética.
